My name is Dave Herring and I live in Beverly, MA. I am a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MDiv), The Master’s College (BA), and Word of Life Bible Institute (Dip). I started God-centered.com in 2006, originally intending it to serve as a community resource page for a local bible study that my friend Danny and I started. Since October 2008, this group of friends has matriculated to Haverhill Community Church in Haverhill, MA as Danny has became the Senior Pastor. At that same time, I created a new site for Haverhill Community Church (http://www.haverhillcc.org) to serve as our web loci. Therefore, I have transitioned God-centered.com as a theological blog to reflect my interests in biblical studies, exegesis, biblical theology, the use of the OT in the NT, reformed theology, and redemptive-historical preaching. I currently serve as a pastoral intern at Haverhill Community and I teach a class on Wednesday evenings.  I also blog at davesexegesis.com.
